Abstract

This paper develops H-infinity Controller for the control of settling chamber pressure inside a Hypersonic Wind Tunnel. Pressure regulation inside the settling chamber is an important task for the effective operation of Hypersonic Wind Tunnel. We establish a model for the system to design H-infinity controller for regulating settling chamber pressure. H-infinity controller is designed by properly selecting the weighing functions. The proposed controller in this paper makes the settling chamber pressure to settle in a shorter duration and perturbations in the system is considered.
