Abstract

Several factors responsible for climate change according to IPCC report factor mainly include burning fossil fuel, change land use and, deforestation, industrial activity, volcanic eruption, agriculture. The carbon dioxide and other green house gases are cause the climate change. In the present the variations of the Carbon dioxide (CO2) emission over South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries during the period of 1971-2010 has been carried out. Out of eight developing SAARC countries emits more amount of CO2. The Maldives have higher emission of CO2 whereas Afghanistan is lowest.
