Abstract

Enterprise Resource Planning system is one of the most important IT developments, it consists of integrated subsystems used to integrate and improve business management Functions Thus the Operational and Transactional aspects were the main reasons behind adopting ERP systems in companies, rather than capabilities of ERP on Supporting Decision, The Most studies on ERP systems were also aimed to evaluate their impacts on operational Aspects without adequate investigation on the relationship between ERP systems and decision support capabilities. This Paper Discusses a research model for further investigate the relationship between ERP systems and Enhancing Decision-Making Process in the Egyptian Petroleum sector that has an important and vital role in the economic growth of Egypt.
