Abstract

The large information available on the www, web search engine plays a very important role. When user gives any query to search, search engine gives the large amount of pages related to the query. But user wants only useful information. Therefore a ranking mechanism is applied to give the useful result at the top and leaving other result at the bottom. There are various ranking algorithm. This paper focused on the two ranking algorithms: Page Rank and Page Content Rank Algorithm.
