Abstract

Effective planning of urban building sites is essential because they are often a source of various kinds of nuisances. In this paper, we present a decision support system for the public space administrator in order to manage building sites nuisances efficiently. The decision support offered through the system is a hybrid approach of two categories. In the first, the decision maker is assisted by supplying relevant information so she can choose the appropriate actions. The second involves active participation of the system in the choice of actions. In this paper, we describe the system in terms of features, functionalities and architecture. This work is part of the FURET project.
