Abstract

Demand on video traffic over mobile network is increasing in every year, wireless link capacity cannot satisfying the traffic requirement. The difference in the traffic demand and the link capacity with varying link conditions results in poor quality of videos such as intermittent disruptions and long buffering time over mobile networks. Due to such environments, a new mobile video streaming and sharing system is propose, which efficiently stores videos on the cloud (VC) and construct agent (subVC) for mobile user at server side to offer non-terminating video streaming. The proposed system also monitors the social network communication among mobile users and their agent prefetch videos in advance at client side according to social activities as a result of video sharing. The security of user data is provided by using AES algorithm.
