Abstract

Everyone deals with multimedia at every walk of lives. Therefore, it is more challenging fact how to organize and structure these huge multimedia information so that we can get information easily at any point of time. Hence, together with the mechanisms for storing and processing in multimedia databases, retrieval of those stored images/videos is always a question in the area. Hence, it gives some methods/approaches used to come up to an efficient retrieval system together with the limitations/challenges and the evaluation mechanisms used. An efficient online system have been done, and hence still some techniques/ methods are needed to adapt those techniques in enterprise levels.Still, some survey is going to address challenges, techniques and evaluation, methods used in multimedia retrieval system.
