Firefox Operating System and Chrome Operating System although launched many years ago, are still new to the operating system market. Windows and Android are the big game players in this area. This paper analyzes how much area Firefox and Chrome has covered in the OS market. Whether people like the features offered by them by taking survey and how many people actually know that such OS exist. A comparison of the OS with their respective opponent OS in their respective field (Firefox in Smartphone and tablets whereas Chrome in Desktops) is made. A conclusion is drawn as of which OS out of the two has gone ahead. As per the survey, 64. 2% of the people were aware of the Chrome OS and 54. 7% of the people were aware of Firefox OS. 64. 2% of people were ready to use Chrome OS and 50. 9% for Firefox OS.
