Abstract

With the technical evolution in the WWW world there has been a great scope for innovative technologies to flourish. One such technology is mashup. Mashup allow having altogether a new service from the existing one on the web. Here we present an introduction to mashup technology including the architecture, the types and the tools/editors. Among all the tools/editors we choose Yahoo! Pipe and discuss it. Then we discuss the various applications of mashup. And apply mashup for implementing the Affiliate Marketing. We create Yahoo! Pipe for implementation and simulate the Affiliate Marketing process using this Yahoo! Pipe. Finally discuss the challenges of mashups
